Ocean Views

View down the beach at Kingscliff

At this point in our travels we had no idea of the miserable weather about to hit us. It was a glorious Saturday morning to be down by the ocean setting up our little stall at the Kingscliff Market. The market is held right on the beach front in Jack Bayliss Park, Marine Parade, every second and fourth Saturday. It was mostly traversed by residents picking up the weekly supply of local produce and tourists ambling along with nothing much to do until their lunch reservation.

We didn't have record sales but it was a splendid location. I am more a hinterland forest dweller but sunshine and waves are soul restoring. I love attending markets that have local fresh produce. I get to have a mid morning wander through the stalls and never come back empty handed. A diet predominately of local fruit and vegetables is also refreshing to the wallet and tummy. I love it!

That beachy vibe

Our little stall set up in the sunshine.

The Road East were our market stall neighbours. They handcraft beautiful home wares. I love their style.

Oh we do like to be beside the seaside!
