Warning.. if you are a crafty junkie like us, you may need to budget some time to rummage. We have wool, sewing supplies, recycled fabric, buttons, haberdashery, craft books, paper wares, sewing patterns. A little slice of crafty heaven, full of surprises.
Yes that is right, a room chock full of crafty materials and off-cuts that we give away for free to those that can use them. A treasure trove of potential.
There is balls of wool, fabric, magazines, paper, glass, buttons, stitchery, patterns, thread, records, books, wood and all manner of project pieces. All generously donated by the local community, our free room is yours to rummage. If you have items to donate/exchange - that is awesome, but not essential. It is a place of generosity and you never know what you will find.
Speckled through the displays of local artisan made items, we stock a curated collection of old wares.
We especially love those pieces that catch your eye as you walk past. Gorgeous pottery vessels, vintage fabric, linen, baskets, wooden dishes, kitchen items and furniture that speaks to you, speaks of you.
Be it a hint of nostalgia, or a resonating style, or simply a colour pattern that makes you smile. If vintage is your thing - check out the Nothing New trail you can do when visiting the area.
