We are very excited to be hosting a number of workshops this winter by the talented textile artisan - Mieke den Otter.
Mieke is an experienced textile artist who lives in Ipswich but loves to visit the Granite Belt for inspiration and fresh air. She will guide you in the making, share techniques and open up the world of traditional and contemporary textiles.
To find out more about the work, collections and projects Mieke has been involved in over the years - check out her blog.
In this workshop you will investigate the world of natural dyeing and discover ways of sourcing colour from leaves, flowers and roots. We will be collecting, keeping a diary and have a cook up using woollen blankets for sample making.

Venue: Bridget Bunchy Recycled Gallery. 117 Granite Belt Drive, The Summit, QLD.
